Mickey Harmon is a Buffalo, NY based illustrator and designer. He has been practicing free lance illustration for the past 6 years for clients ranging from local bands to political action committees. With a base in illustration he has executed full scale maps of the city of Buffalo for a music and art festival in the summer 2015 season. Past clients include Visit Buffalo Niagara, The Public Newspaper and Artvoice Newspaper. With a strong foundation in architecture and place making neighborhoods he brings a feeling of place through his illustrations. Mickey graduated from Buffalo State College in the fall of 2011 and has worked for Rosen Publishing, an independent children’s book publisher in Buffalo, NY.
Mickey has illustrated on the fine art end, a series of graphic novels based on local WNY history. Grover Cleveland, or Grovey Cleves, was the first subject to be illustrated in a semi fictional account of his life. Next, Peggy O’Neil, a 1920’s actress from South Buffalo that made it big all over the world.
